Current Transformers at Stromwandler24: Precision for Your Power Distribution

Current transformers are indispensable components in modern power technology. They transform high primary currents proportionally and phase-accurately into measurable secondary currents (typically 1 A or 5 A), enabling the safe operation of connected meters, energy meters and protection relays. At the same time, they provide galvanic isolation between the primary circuit and the measuring circuit, ensuring the protection of personnel and equipment.

Our Product Portfolio at a Glance

Stromwandler24 offers you a comprehensive range of current transformers "Made in Germany" for virtually any application:

Plug-on current transformers: The standard solution for switchboard construction. Mounted directly on the busbar or cable. Ideal for new installations thanks to compact designs and easy mounting.
Wound current transformers: For small primary currents where high accuracy is required. The primary conductor is routed directly through the transformer and wound internally.
Split-core current transformers (clamp-on): Perfect for retrofit applications. These openable transformers can be mounted around existing conductors without interrupting the circuit.
Protection current transformers: Deliberately saturate late so that the protection signal is transmitted correctly to relays and switching devices even at high fault currents.

Quality and Accuracy

Our current transformers are available in various accuracy classes (e.g. 0.2s, 0.5, 1, 3), depending on requirements – from basic operational metering to billing-relevant measurement. The current transformers in our range feature high-quality materials and robust construction for longevity even under demanding conditions.

Typical Applications

The current transformers in our range are used worldwide in power distribution systems, industrial switchgear, power plants (wind, solar, conventional) and building automation. Rely on proven measuring technology made in Germany.
